The Sage Lighting SXU255T5-ROHS is a high-frequency electronic ballast designed for fluorescent and UV-C lighting systems. Operating across a universal voltage range of 120-277Vac, it powers 1 or 2 50W/55W Biax (TT5) long twin tube lamps or linear T5 lamps (such as single F54T5 or dual F39T5). It features a programmed start (series) mechanism, which gently preheats lamp electrodes prior to ignition to minimize electrode damage and significantly extend lamp life—making it well-suited for high-cycle environments like motion-sensored commercial spaces. Featuring side-exit wiring leads and integrated mounting feet, the compact ballast measures 9.50" x 1.72" x 1.16" and weighs 1.35 lbs. Additionally, it is RoHS-compliant, UL and cUL listed, and supports remote mounting up to 21 feet.
