Q: What methods of payment does H&M Distributors, Inc. accept?
A: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express Credit cards and approve customers have NET30 terms.
Q: How do I know it’s safe to submit my credit card number?
A: HMlighting.com takes our customers’ security seriously. Credit card payment is made in a secured area of our website (a key, lock or chain may appear in the browser’s status bar to show a secure area). All personal information is encrypted and credit card numbers are NOT stored in our system.
Q: Can I apply for NET terms?
A: Yes. We typically require a company to purchase a minimum of $5,000 per year to be possible for them to have terms, so we require a company to pay via Credit Card for the first 3-6 months to see what annual purchasing will total.
Q: Does H&M Distributors, Inc. charge taxes and fees?
A: Sales tax will be charged to any shipping destinations in NV. Canadian and all other International shipments may be accompanied with Duties & Taxes at time of delivery. (our store only charges for the price of the shipping label).
Q: Can I order by phone?
A: Yes. If you are an existing customer you may place your order by calling 702.294.8944. If you are a new customer your first order must be via email, website or facsimile because it is a long process to create a new customer account.
Q: Can I order online?
A: Yes, however only registered users can view pricing and add items to a shopping cart online. If you are a Lighting Distributor and/or Contractor please contact us so we can register you for an account online.
Q: Why can’t I see prices online?
A: Only registered Lighting Distributors and Lighting Contractors can view pricing on hmlighting.com. We do not sell directly to the public or show pricing to companies that do not purchase directly from H&M Distributors, Inc.
Q: What shipping methods are available?
A: We ship FedEx Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, 2nd Day Air, Express Saver, Home Delivery and Ground. We do not ship USPS or UPS, and we cannot place any items in the mail. All orders must have valid tracking information.
Q: Can I use my carrier account for shipping?
A: Not at this time. H&M Distributors, Inc. ship all orders FOB Destination, so that you do not have to file carrier claims or be concerned with having to order more units while you have yet to get a claim result from a carrier.
Q: How much will shipping cost?
A: Shipping charges are dynamic carrier rates calculated by the dimensions, weight and number of boxes for your order. Other price factors will be if the carrier charges an area surcharge for your address, and if shipping to a residence. You can estimate shipping charges right in your shopping cart.
Q: When will my order ship?
A: All in stock orders placed prior to 4pm EST via FedEx ship the same day.
Q: When will tracking be available for my order?
A: Tracking is typically available on or before 6pm PST the day your order ships.
Q: How fast can HMlighting.com deliver my order?
A: Provided all items ordered is in stock, orders typically deliver in 2 to 5 business days. For more immediate delivery, we offer FedEx Overnight, 2-Day and Express Saver options. Please contact us to confirm product availability. We ship from Henderson, Nevada, (just outside of Las Vegas).
Q: Can I modify or cancel my order?
A: Yes, however once your order has been transferred to our warehouse for fulfillment, we will be unable to update and/or change shipping address, item or item quantity or make any other changes to your order. (orders are transferred to our warehouse within 1 hour of receipt during business hours).
Q: Can I return my order?
A: Returns requests are accepted up to 30 days from date of invoice. Items must be in new/unused condition in original packaging. Manufacturer discontinued items and/or Special-order items such as non-stock items or quote items are NCNR (Non-Cancelable, Non-Returnable).
Q: Does H&M Distributors, Inc. ship Internationally?
A: Yes, we ship to over 100 different countries. Please contact us if you do not see your country listed in the shipping options.
Q: Does H&M Distributors, Inc. use Proforma Invoices?
A: No, H&M Distributors, Inc. uses dynamic rates for shipping charges not flat rates. Because of this we will not know the actual shipping charges until your order has been packaged, measured and weighted. So not knowing the exact total prior to packaging up the order we cannot generate a Proforma Invoice.
Q: What happens if my order is damaged?
A: HMlighting.com employs professional technicians experienced with glass shipments. Due to all precautions taken to ship securely, damage is rare. If damage occurs, report to HMlighting.com within 48 hours of receipt. Any claim reported after that time may not be honored by the shipping carrier.
Q: What happens if my order is lost?
A: Any lost or missing order must be reported within 14 days of the order ship date for full reimbursement. If shipment status shows the package has successfully been delivered, carrier must first investigate lost claim.
Q: Does HMlighting.com offer volume or bulk discounts?
A: Yes, we do offer price breaks for larger quantity orders. If the item you are interested in does not have a volume discount please contact us.
Q: I am a Lighting Distributor or Lighting Contractor, is there level pricing?
A: Yes, if you are specifically a lighting distributor or lighting contractor, please contact us and we will register you for an account. Once you have a login ID and password you will be able to see pricing and place orders online.
Q: Will H&M Distributors, Inc. sell my name and address to other companies?
