Description

The Leviton 1X6592-12IPS (also cataloged under LHC-12-MOG-IPS) is a specialty die-cast metal IPS cap designed for mogul base (E39) lamp holders. Built to provide reliable physical support and threaded mounting, it features integrated side tabs with tapped #8-32 holes spaced on 1-3/8 inch centers. It is designed to accommodate a standard 1/2 IPS threaded pipe entry, providing a secure connection for various high-intensity discharge (HID), incandescent, halogen, and LED mogul base lighting fixtures. Engineered primarily for industrial and commercial lighting assemblies, the cap offers robust construction that withstands heavy-duty use. Note that this cap does not include an internal insulator, which must be sourced separately depending on the lampholder assembly.
